Olympic day

This year for the 16^th time, in our country will be organized day of International Olympic Committee (IOC), which is on the June 23.1894 founded by Pierre de Coubertin. Organization for birthday of the IOC will be same as years before, it will be Olympic day as sport-recreation day. For the first time this year, Olympic day will be organized on the trim path Kosutnjak, which is near by Republican Institute for sport. Goal of this happening is popularization of Olympic activities and Olympic spirit, but first of all incitement of people to be active in nature, socializing with family, promotion of healthy life, and protection of life environment.

Serbian Olympic Committee will organized race for kids (200m and 400m), recreation (3600m) that will be celebration for the116, Birthday of the IOC, this year Olympic day will be organized Saturday June 12, 2010 with the beginning at 11h.

This is the year when Serbian Olympic committee is celebrating 100 years of  establishment and it is use to promote Olympic values, which are actually universal life values.

Because Kosutnjak is favorite family location in Belgrade, Olympic day this year will have next message:

For the first time this year, beside race for kids and recreation, it will be organized family race (400m) and for the largest family participant, main sponsor, company Telenor is providing gifts.
