Serbia handball team played a tie match 21:21 with Slovakia in the last match of the first phase of European championship.
In a match that didn’t have result significance, Serbia didn’t manage to save an eight goal advantage from the first half. Serbian coach used this match to give a chance to players who didn’t play as much in first two matches. The most efficient player was Prodanovic with 5 goals, Momir Ilic scored 4 times, and Dalibor Cutura three times. On the opposite side, Kukucka, Duris and Urban scored 4 goals each.
After a shoulder injury and missing the match against Denmark, pivot man Rastko Stojkovic returned to the team.
Serbia is going to the second phase of the championship with the maximum 4 points. Serbia is playing against Germany on Saturday 21st of January, followed by matches with Sweden and Macedonia.
